1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Daily Ledger application and related services provided by Nagabyte. By downloading, accessing, or using the Daily Ledger application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the service. We may update these Terms periodically, and your continued use of the application after an update becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms, where legally applicable.

2. Description of Daily Ledger

Daily Ledger is a personal finance and financial record-keeping application. It provides tools allowing users to manually record and manage financial information, including income, expenses, categories, transaction descriptions, and balances. The application also provides basic functionality such as local data backups and transaction reminders.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms under the laws applicable to you. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use Daily Ledger only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where required.

4. User Accounts

You may choose to create an account to utilize certain features of Daily Ledger. If you create an account, you are responsible for providing accurate information and for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not intentionally share or misuse your account credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you should notify our support team immediately.

5. User Responsibilities

When using Daily Ledger, you agree that you will not:

• Use the application for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its related systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the application.
• Reverse engineer the application, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Use the application to violate the rights of any third party.

6. Financial Data Disclaimer

Daily Ledger is strictly a financial record-keeping and organization tool. Daily Ledger is not a bank, financial institution, investment adviser, broker, lender, or tax adviser. We do not provide personalized financial, investment, tax, legal, or banking advice. You remain entirely responsible for any financial decisions made based on information recorded or displayed by the application. You must independently verify the accuracy of the records you maintain within the application.

7. Backup

Daily Ledger provides features intended to help you protect your data, including options for local device backups and Google Drive backups. These backups are intended as a data-protection feature, but users should periodically verify that important backups have been created successfully. You are solely responsible for maintaining access to your Google account or retaining your local backup files. Backup or restoration processes may fail due to device, storage, network, account, or third-party service issues. Users should maintain appropriate independent backups of critical financial information.

8. Third-Party Services

Daily Ledger integrates with certain third-party services to provide its functionality:

• Google Sign-In: Used to authenticate your user account securely.
• Google Drive API: Used to allow you to voluntarily back up your data to your personal Google Drive. Google Drive is a third-party service governed by Google's applicable terms and policies. Nagabyte does not own, control, or have independent access to your Google Drive.
• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements within the application.

9. Advertising

The Daily Ledger application may display advertisements provided through Google AdMob. The delivery and measurement of these advertisements are handled by Google in accordance with Google's policies and your applicable device advertising settings.

10. Subscriptions

Daily Ledger is currently available without a paid subscription. Certain features or paid services may be introduced in the future and, if introduced, will be presented with applicable pricing and terms before purchase.

11. Intellectual Property

The Daily Ledger application, including its original content, branding, features, and functionality, are and will remain the exclusive property of Nagabyte. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use Nagabyte's branding, logos, or other intellectual property, nor do we claim ownership over third-party libraries, trademarks, or APIs used within the application.

12. User Data and Privacy

Your use of Daily Ledger is also subject to our Privacy Policy. You retain all rights to the financial information you enter into the application, subject to the technical operation of the service and applicable law. The Privacy Policy explains how your data is collected, used, and stored.

13. Service Availability

While we strive to provide a reliable service, availability may vary. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may temporarily affect availability. Furthermore, third-party services integrated into the app may experience outages. Nagabyte does not guarantee that the application will operate uninterrupted or error-free at all times.

14. Account Suspension/Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the service if we determine there are reasonable grounds to do so. Such grounds include, but are not limited to, material violation of these Terms, unlawful use, abuse of the service, security threats, or legal requirements. Where practical, we will attempt to provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue unless immediate action is reasonably necessary.

15. Account Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account and associated server data at any time. Detailed instructions can be found on our Account Deletion page. Account deletion may result in the permanent removal of associated account data, subject to legitimate retention requirements as described in our Privacy Policy.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nagabyte shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; (c) any third-party service failures; (d) loss caused by a failure to maintain backups; or (e) incorrect information entered by the user. These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory of liability.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service when necessary to reflect changes in our features, legal requirements, or service policies. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice where required.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nagabyte is legally established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
